Story:
Excalibur-Class is hijacked by Orion pirates while undergoing maintenance at a shipyard. There were A LOT of pirates. All that was able to respond to the threat of the captured starship was an old Ambassador-Class and the station's fighter defense squadron.
The odds of winning are INCREDIBLY slim to none. But the Orions aren't overly familiar with Starfleet technology, and so they were unable to get shields up before the Ambassador got some good hits in and knocked out the generators.
