Porblem? Sure, the fact that the JJ ships don't have these to begin with! I mean pulse Phasers? Really?
I understand, alternate reality, and hell even in Axanar the older ships have Phaser turrets (whihc pop up out of the ship, so cool), but at least try to stay true to the old series.
This all being said, I'm glad Abrams made the ST movies, because without them, I don't think CBS would have seriously considered making the series they just announced.
